Charles Wei, general manager of FKI, said in an interview that this year's (2022) annual performance can grow by 15-20% compared to last year, and the production line will remain fully loaded by the second quarter of tomorrow (2023). The company is prepared and prudent.

Brand, team, after-sales service, and R&D capabilities are all advantages of FKI; FKI currently has 180 employees, more than 30 R&D person, and the service team also has 20 people, who have traveled all over the world and provide customers with the most immediate service.

Large-scale, intelligent and energy-saving machines are currently the main sales force of FKI and the core of competitiveness. In particular, the All Electric Blow Molding Machine enjoys a good reputation in the global market. It has won the "Excellence Award" and "Aesthetic Award" in the Taipei Taipei PLAS competition for two consecutive years. The latest "3 Layer All Electric Blow Molding Machine" at the last K exhibition in Germany (plastic and rubber exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany) was even more stunning and well received.  Many customers come here admiringly.

However, this year's TaipeiPLAS 2022, affected by the national epidemic isolation policy, it is not easy for foreign customers to enter the country. In addition, it is close to the 3-year German K Show schedule (10/19), which will inevitably affect foreign buyers to come to Taiwan.

Charles Wei pointed out that, FKI participated in this year's TaipeiPLAS 2022, reduced the scale and did not have any machines on display. The focus will guide customers to visit the Tainan head office. However, the cost of booth decoration is not less than in previous years. As long as it is invested in software, a large-scale animation and a video wall will be produced for the main model of the Blow Molding Machine, which will be introduced to customers in a new marketing mode, and will also be warmed up for the K Show in Germany in advance.

Charles Wei emphasized that the "All Electric 3 Layer Blow Molding Machine" capable of producing 20 liters of Jerry can (portable oil drum) will be the company's main model at this year's TaipeiPlas and K Show in Germany；The machine continues to improve, in line with today's themes of environmental friendliness, low energy consumption, low carbon footprint and 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). It can be described as a model with green energy, energy saving and intelligence.

It is worth mentioning that this model can handle more recycled materials in the middle layer of 3 layers. By improving the shape design, the weight can be reduced by 30% without affecting the quality and stacking stability. With a 3 layer structure, the amount of MB can be saved by 60%, saving a huge amount of plastic every year and effectively reducing costs. And when the amount of plastic used in each process is reduced, the heat is naturally reduced, and the rapid cooling cycle can improve productivity.

In addition, the machine cooperates with the Industry 4.0 intelligent manufacturing control system, and all production data can be collected and recorded for analysis, improving production control in many ways.

In the exhibition period, FKI Tainan head office will be equipped with various types of blow molding machines, including traditional hydraulic, and All Electric intelligent models. FKI welcomes the visitors to make an appointment to visit.

Charles Wei said that in the face of the severe test of the international market, FKI chose not to cut prices to compete, and received orders based on the best. However, inflation, rising raw materials, and shortage of key components have made order delays the norm. The six-month extension was extended to 8-10 months, which caused great pressure on the space arrangement and efficiency of the production line. However, favorable factors such as the recent easing of freight rates and the depreciation of the Taiwan dollar have finally brought a new dawn to exporters.

Regarding the shortage of manpower in the machinery industry, Charles Wei said that in the past, the cooperation in education and education that could introduce new students is no longer favored by students; fortunately, the integrated system of FKI has kept the turnover rate of employees at a lower level than other industry. Sometimes engineering and technical personnel are also difficult to match the temptation of the conditions of the technology factory.

FKI current products include: Blow Molding Machine, Sheet Making Machine, Laminating Machine, Cast Film Machine and Blown  Film Line. Among them, Blow Molding Machine accounts for more than 50% of the revenue. The key precision components of the machine mainly adopt European and American systems, with both customized and systematic process design. Machines are sold in more than 110 countries around the world, especially in North America and Africa.
